The Bold and the Beautiful struck gold when they hired Heather Tom. She brought her talents as an actress to the show and took Katie Logan to new heights. She’s also shown off her directing chops quite a few times, too!
The Director’s Chair
This week, Tom shared on Instagram she’s acting and directing in an upcoming episode. She included several fun snaps on set in both roles. Judging from the pics, it looks like she’s in charge of scenes including Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Sean Kanan (Deacon), and Kimberlin Brown (Sheila). And, she’ll be putting on her acting hat for shots with Don Diamont (Bill).

Is it possible a Katie-centered storyline is budding? It’s been quite some time since the character took center stage in a front-burner storyline. Currently, Katie and Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) are kinda-sorta a couple and fans would love to see more of their budding love story.
