The past few years have not been easy for Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s Steffy on The Bold and the Beautiful. From getting shot to her husband’s kidnapping to having to deal with the Logan ladies, it’s never a dull moment. The star has thoughts on her character’s troubles and shared them in a fantastic new interview.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Shares Her Thoughts
This week, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood touched base with Soap Opera Digest to chat about the current goings-on for her famed character. First up: Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) being turned loose once again…and what that means for Sinn’s pairing. “In Steffy’s opinion, for being so damn smart, Finn can sometimes be clueless,” she joked. Finn (Tanner Novlan) taking up for his mother isn’t something Steffy enjoys or is willing to tolerate. “She’s clearly a murdering sociopath,” Wood said of the She-Devil.
Will Steffy end her marriage over this? “Steffy does love Finn. But how many times can Steffy go through this with Finn before being completely worn down by it?” Wood told the publication. Of course, the future of Sinn all depends on Finn and what he does next. It will be a fine balance for the son of the town’s biggest villain.
As if that’s not enough turmoil in Steffy’s life, her father keeps bringing the Logans even further into her life. Just recently, Ridge begged for Brooke to be the face of the Bedroom Line. And, no, Steffy is not a fan. “Steffy has made it clear how she feels about Brooke and the Logans regarding Ridge and her family. She does not hold back from Ridge at how frustrated she is.” The bad blood is definitely dialing up the tension!
Battling the blonde bombshell is bad enough, but Steffy is also at war with Brooke’s daughter. And, she doesn’t even know the half of it. “Steffy feels that Hope is attempting to influence Steffy and Finn’s marriage because of Sheila, and Hope’s insane thinking that Sheila and Hope’s father, Deacon, have both turned a new leaf,” Jacqueline MacInnes Wood relays. If she’s this mad now, just wait until she finds out Hope is crushing on her man! “When that truth is revealed to Steffy…. Hope better be far, far away!”
