Since its debut in 2019, Studio City has followed the life of Hollywood actor Sam Stevens (Kanan) and the cast of Hearts on Fire, America’s number two daytime drama, as they navigate the chaotic world of soap operas and their own messy personal lives.
In addition to Kanan, the cast includes a bevy of the Who’s Who of soapers including Tristan Rogers (D.A. Robert Scorpio, General Hospital), Ron Moss (ex-Ridge Forrester, B&B, doing a hilarious turn as an exaggerated version of himself), Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller, GH), Patrika Darby (ex-Shirley Spectra, B&B and The Young and the Restless; Nancy Wesley, Days of our Lives), and Sarah Joy Brown (Madison James, DAYS; Aggie Jones, B&B; ex-Julia Morrisey Larrabee, As the World Turns; ex-Claudia Zacchara/ex-Carly Roberts, GH).
Fans of dramatic doings who missed out on the series the first time around due to the paywall can now view it for free (it does bear repeating) on both The Roku Channel and Tubi.
