The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for November 22, 2023, promise a very special episode dedicated to Brooke, Ridge, and their decades-long love story.
A Romantic Dinner For Bridge
It was only a year ago when Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was getting ready to marry Taylor (Krista Allen) after he annulled his years-long latest marriage to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). He didn’t even tell her why, nor did he tell Taylor. For the first few months of this year, both women wanted absolutely nothing to do with him and became BFFs.
Of course, during that time Brooke never bothered mentioning to Taylor that she kissed Ridge under the mistletoe at Christmas or that she paraded around in her lingerie in front of him because old habits die hard. By June, Ridge had looked through a keyhole of destiny in Rome and decided he really belonged with Brooke and that was that.
They have not yet remarried, but that doesn’t matter because they feel married. To that end, Ridge plans a romantic dinner for Brooke where they celebrate their love and take a long trip down memory lane way back to 1987 when they first met.
Ridge was a hotshot young fashion-designing playboy engaged to the virtuous Caroline Spencer (Joanna Johnson) and Brooke was a cater waiter putting herself through college so she could become a chemist. As we all know, she fell for Ridge but also fell for his father, Eric (John McCook), and married him.
Flashbacks Galore
That was many years ago but their romance is fresh in their minds. Expect flashbacks from the 11 years that Thorsten Kaye has been playing Ridge, but we won’t see any Ronn Moss, the actor who played Ridge for the first quarter of a century that the soap has been on the air.
However, both Kaye and Katherine Kelly Lang taped some re-created flashbacks so we will still get memorable Brooke and Ridge moments presented in a different way. In the end, the pair affirms their love, making Brooke believe more than ever that Ridge is indeed her destiny. Is another wedding on its way and who will design the gown?
