The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for December 13, 2023, promise a heartbreaking day for Donna as she bids goodbye to the man she adores.
Finn Tries To Get His Point Across
While Finn (Tanner Novlan) makes no guarantees, he doesn’t believe Eric’s (John McCook) mystery illness means certain death. An experimental treatment is out there. With Finn now in charge of the case, he believes there may be a way to save Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) grandfather’s life.
Too bad Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) still doesn’t want to hear it. He’s made up his mind. Yes, he doesn’t want to see his father die but he is going to let the chips fall where they may. This only serves to frustrate Finn because he is a doctor and Ridge refuses to allow him to just do his job.
Ridge Is In Charge
Despite the fact that Finn claims he can save Eric’s life, Ridge doesn’t want to hear it. He’s made up his mind. Eric would not want to suffer. He would want to die with dignity so he won’t allow an experimental treatment that will save his father’s life.
That means Donna (Jennifer Gareis) now has to resign herself to losing Eric. At least Ridge is altruistic enough to allow Donna to say goodbye, as everyone seems to be taking orders from him. Donna cries by Eric’s bedside and tells him how much she loves him, all the while knowing this doesn’t have to be the end. She would do anything for more time together.
Can Donna and the rest of Eric’s loved ones do anything to help convince Ridge that he needs to do the right thing? There is no time to waste. If there is a chance that Eric can live, they need to act fast now.
Will Bridget (Ashley Jones) be able to talk some sense into Ridge since she is a doctor he has known longer than he’s known Finn? She wants her father in her life and is ready to take Finn’s side and do what needs to be done. The rest of the family will likely be behind her.
