Friday’s edition of The Bold and the Beautiful will feature turning points for couples. One couple enjoys a romantic dinner and contemplating taking their relationship to the next level. However, it’ll be heartbreak for another pair who decide to end their relationship. Here’s a glimpse of what’s in store for the Sept. 22, 2023 episode.
Hope Relishes Thomas’ Affections
Douglas’ is persistent in his plan to make him, Hope, and Thomas a family. Although his parents told him to let fate work it out, the youngster takes matters into his own hands. Douglas sets up a candlelight dinner for his parents, then secretly arranges for them to meet. Hope and Thomas can’t help but admire Douglas’ matchmaking skills. They agree to have dinner together much to Douglas’ delight, but tell him this doesn’t guarantee they’ll be a family.
Douglas gives them some privacy, and the couple enjoys their romantic meal. Throughout dinner Hope and Thomas will discuss their relationship. Although things have been purely physical, Thomas’ love and dedication to Hope is still going strong. Thomas will again voice his love for Hope, and promise to wait for her. Hope will be touched by Thomas’ declaration and it’ll be one more reason why she finds herself falling in love with him.
After her split with Liam, Hope had fears about becoming involved with Thomas. But their romantic dinner will give her a new perspective. Hope will start to clearly see that Thomas might be the right man for her, and they could have a future together. However, she still wants to take things slow and see how things go before she makes a commitment. Her decision to continue her relationship with Thomas will not only affect him, but also Douglas.
Deacon Breaks Up With Sheila
While Hope’s relationship with Thomas is flourishing, her dad is having bad luck in the romance department. After the close call of almost getting caught by Hope, Deacon realizes he and Sheila can’t be together. He’s worked hard to turn his life around and stands to lose everything, including Hope. He can’t stand the thought of losing his daughter, and reaches an important decision. Although he loves Sheila, he loves Hope more. His daughter takes top priority in his life and he’s not going to risk their relationship.
The aftermath of Deacon and Sheila’s breakup will be interesting. Naturally, Sheila will be shocked and a little upset. Although Sheila might be accepting of the decision, she’s been known to turn at the snap of a finger. All Sheila wants is to be loved, and while she had fun with Deacon, she can understand him choosing Hope over her. With her relationship with Deacon over, Sheila will have time to focus on her other obsession, her son Finn. She’s more determined than ever to be in his life. Since Steffy is away in Europe, Sheila sees this as the perfect opportunity to try reconnecting with Finn.
However, Sheila’s plan hits a snag now that Finn’s decided to end her shenanigans. Finn’s rejection will send Sheila over the edge and she’ll wind up back at Deacon’s door, venting about her son. Sheila can’t handle the rejection and loneliness, and might make a play for her ex-lover. But Deacon is steadfast in his proclamation that he and Sheila are over. A spurned Sheila is dangerous and she might exact revenge on Deacon. Sheila will hit her former boy toy where it hurt the most by possibly going after his precious daughter Hope. If Sheila does anything to hurt Deacon or his family, she’ll add more enemies to her hit list.
