The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for October 27, 2023, promise a day of fashion, glamour, and emotion as Eric’s final line is about to debut.

While Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) can tell there is something more going on with Eric than meets the eye, he is still determined to beat him in the fashion showdown. As for Eric (John McCook), he is determined to show he still has it despite the fact that he is sick and just learned he only has six months to live.
Eric needs this grand finale collection to be his best yet and a hit with the press and couture customers. He has had Donna (Jennifer Gareis), Katie (Heather Tom), and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) on his side through the whole thing and can’t let them down, but he doesn’t want any animosity between him and Ridge. His son has his own cheerleading section in Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Carter (Lawerence Saint-Victor).
Ridge feels the same and wants no hard feelings before the models head down the runway. To that end, Ridge and Eric share a close moment before the show begins and wish one another luck. They are father and son, not enemies. May the best man win this battle.
Katie Explains The Rules
Before the guests see any dress, Katie is on hand to get the party started. She confers with Brooke, but doesn’t tell her what she knows about Eric. She is also happy to see Lauren Fenmore in town straight from Genoa City. Even Marie Osmond is there for the occasion.
When it comes time to explain the rules, the guests learn that they will not know who designed what gown. They will just choose which ones they like best without any bias influencing their decision. Both Eric and Ridge are determined to make this a fair contest and Katie lets everyone know what’s in store.
Will the show go off without a hitch? Will Eric have the triumphant finale to his career that he is looking for? Or, will his health take a dramatic turn for the worse before the show even ends? It’s a precarious moment in his long and successful life and nothing can go wrong.
