The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for January 15, 2024, promise a fraught day for Thomas and Hope as she learns what Thomas did — or did not do — the night of Emma’s crash.
Hope Is Stunned
Hope (Annika Noelle) has always seen the good in Thomas (Matthew Atkinson)even when he was at his worst and did one unimaginable thing to her when he kept the truth about Baby Beth to himself and married her. In the years since, they became friends, frenemies, co-parents, creative partners, and now lovers.
While Hope has known since Emma’s (Nia Sioux) death that Thomas was trying to stop her from telling Hope the truth that night, she did not know that he was there and did not call for help. Instead, he just drove away. No, Thomas did not kill Emma, but he did nothing to save her either.
After telling Steffy about that night, Thomas knew he needed to tell Hope the truth so they could start their life together with transparency. However, Hope finds herself rattled by what Thomas confesses and is not sure what to make of everything. Will she still believe that Thomas truly is a changed man?
Steffy Has Her Work Cut Out For Her
One person who does not believe that Thomas has changed or is even capable of changing is his brother-in-law Finn (Tanner Novlan). He is still convinced that Thomas is a murderer just because Xander (Adain Bradley) believes it — or at least that is what he claims. (He has to be working for someone, right?)
Once again, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is forced to go to her husband and try to convince him to believe Thomas’s story and not some strangers. Thomas told her the whole truth about what happened that night and Steffy firmly believed everything he said.
Thomas was wrong for keeping the Beth secret, wrong for chasing Emma, and even more wrong for not calling for help, but he did not kill the young intern in cold blood and Finn needs to believe that. However, Finn now has a one-track mind and can’t see things Steffy’s way.
