The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for October 19, 2023, tease Hope giving her father an ultimatum and praying he makes a choice that won’t break her heart.
Hope Wants Deacon to Dump Sheila
Hope (Annika Noelle) is still reeling from the fact that her father is in love with Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) of all people and plans to marry her. She is a sociopath who shot her own son and daughter-in-law and left them for dead in an alley and Deacon (Sean Kanan) is even the one who found their bloodied bodies. How could he even fathom being with someone like Sheila after experiencing that?
Deacon claims that Sheila has changed and he makes her happy but he doesn’t want to lose the relationship he has built with Hope over the last two years. Hope doesn’t want to lose that either after wanting her father for so long, but she can’t accept him being with Sheila. It’s either her or Sheila. Deacon can’t have it both ways.
Hope is used to a man with a divided heart after spending so many years with Liam (Scott Clifton). She is not sure if she can handle it if her father is torn between her and a woman she considers to be evil. After all, Sheila didn’t just shoot Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Finn (Tanner Novlan). She once shot Brooke and Taylor too.
Deacon Can’t Have Everything
Deacon has a big decision to make. He returned to LA when he got out of prison specifically to develop a relationship with Hope. He never thought he would fall in love with someone much less someone like Sheila. But, as Deacon told Hope last week, sometimes love just doesn’t make sense.
With Hope now involved with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), she should be able to understand that. Of course, Hope refuses to admit what she feels for Thomas could be love, so she is blinded by her hate toward Sheila. Deacon doesn’t want to lose Hope but he also doesn’t want to lose Sheila. When Hope gives him an ultimatum, what choice will he make? Will Hope fall victim to another man choosing another woman over her — with the man being her dad this time? Deacon doesn’t want to disappoint Hope but how can he lose Sheila?
