The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for November 15, 2023, promise another day of sorrow for the Forrester and Logan clans as news Eric’s terminal illness spreads.
Thomas Takes The News Hard
While both Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) are devastated and shocked when Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) tells them that Eric is dying and only has about six months to live, Thomas seems to be dealing with the information worse than Steffy. She is absorbing it and trying to remain pragmatic while Thomas is not faring well at all.
As a designer, Eric (John McCook) is Thomas’s idol and the man he learned so much from. His grandfather has always been there to support him even when he screwed up and he can’t imagine life without him. Thomas has had many mental health struggles and come so far over the last year, but will all that therapy help him cope with such tragic and unreal information? Thomas is going to need all the support he can get as he deals with such horrific news. At least his mother is back in town to help.
The Logans Tell Hope About Eric
The Logan sisters have known about Eric’s condition for weeks. First, Donna (Jennifer Gareis) knew because she was Eric’s partner and then Katie (Heather Tom) overheard that Eric was dying. Now, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) knows thanks to RJ (Joshua Hoffman) spilling the truth so it’s time to tell Hope (Annika Noelle) what’s been going on.
Hope can hardly believe her ears when she learns that Eric does not have long at all. This news is so stunning and unexpected that Hope doesn’t know what to make of it. Eric has always seemed so strong and alive. How can a man like that be terminally ill?
Will Hope realize how much Thomas needs her during this time? He is always there to comfort and support her and now she is going to need to do the same or him. This tragedy can help bring them closer together as they deal with the news as a couple. After all, Hope might not be able to admit she loves Thomas, but she did tell Steffy that she is with him and he is more broken up than she can imagine.
