The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for November 1, 2023, tease Ridge’s whole life changing in an instant when Brooke and RJ tell him the truth.
Ridge Can’t Believe His Ears
The models have walked the runway in their gowns, the guests have bid, and the fashion showdown is now over. All Eric (John McCook) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) can do is wait to learn who the winner is and then live with the consequences. However, Ridge has no idea what he is about to learn first.
When Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and RJ (Joshua Hoffman) enter Eric’s office saying they want to talk, he can’t imagine what this could be about and why they look so pensive, so they explain. Eric is dying and the doctors say he only has six months to live.
Brooke is still reeling from this information herself as RJ just told her what he knew. She couldn’t let Ridge be in the dark any longer especially when both her sisters knew.
This changes everything for Ridge. He now knows why Eric has been acting the way he has for months and why designing a final line is so important to him. Eric needs to go out with a bang and have his legacy mean something. Does this change the calculus for Ridge when it comes to who should really win this contest? He went into the day feeling arrogant and confident, but what does that really mean if his father is dying?
Eric And Donna Want Answers
Speaking of who won, Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and Eric are on the edge of their seats waiting for Carter’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) announcement. Carter says he knows the winner, but keeps putting off the reveal. What could be taking so long and why the delay?
Eric’s life’s work is riding on this, at least in his mind. He is determined to show the fashion world that he still has it and leave his mark in a monumental way. As he watched the show, he was pleased with how well-received his creations were, but he needs to feel that victory for it to truly mean something to him. Will Carter be forthcoming or is there a reason he has been procrastinating in declaring a winner?
