Hope Is No Shrinking Violet
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is used to being the dominating stepsister in the endless Steffy and Hope (Annika Noelle) rivalry but it looks like they might be on equal footing now. When Steffy confronts Hope about her relationship with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), she learns that Hope has a whole new attitude.
Hope may not be ready for a full commitment with Thomas, but she loves being with her and he makes her very happy right now so nothing Steffy says is going to stop her from doing what she wants. She spent way too many years doing what people told her was right and that’s not who she is anymore.
Will Steffy realize that her former and future step-sister is the right woman for Thomas? They seem happy and like Steffy, Hope finally rid Liam (Scott Clifton) from her life. Sure, they each share a child with him but at least they are with men who love them and only them now. Of course, Liam will beg to differ and now thinks he is the right man for Steffy.
Taylor Confronts Sheila
With Steffy back, so is Taylor (Krista Allen), and like Hope, she’s also not backing down. Fresh off a fight with Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Taylor goes gunning for Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) to see what’s really going on with Deacon (Sean Kanan).
She can’t imagine why Deacon would ever want to marry her, especially after finding her handiwork in the alley last year as a result of Sheila shooting Steffy and Finn (Tanner Novlan).
Taylor is there to warn Sheila to stay away from her family, meaning leave Steffy, Finn, and their kids alone. Taylor trusted Sheila once and thought she changed, but she soon learned otherwise. While Sheila claims to have changed now, Taylor knows she can’t believe it.
Are Taylor and Steffy right? Can Sheila Carter ever really change and become a sane and decent person? Well, it’s been about 30 years since she was first introduced to the CBS soap scene and she’s still as devious as ever.
