A new day dawns at Forrester Creations. The eponymous family is out, and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is in — and, by extension, so is his Lady MacBeth-esque lady love Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
It’s all a bit ironic, considering Hope’s mother — the very same one who wasted no time in ratting out her darling daughter’s scheme to her blindsided hubby — once usurped control of the company and steered it through its glory days. Oh, yes, the glory days. The Men’s Line, Brooke’s Bedroom Line, Forrester Home Design, Ambrosia…
Hope and Carter hope to bring about a renaissance at the fashion house, and they’re willing to do it with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) at the design helm and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) by their side in the office — but if the offer should be refused, yet again, then they’ll just as easily move onward and upward. Ridge isn’t the only designer in L.A.
Unfortunately for the pair, Ridge and his brethren aren’t going to go gently into that good night. Oh, no. The Forresters are the kind of folks who’d rather burn the building to the ground than let the likes of another Logan take it over — they deeply regret letting it stand following Brooke’s hostile invasion; ditto for Bill Spencer’s. As far as they’re concerned, the battle may have been lost, but the war is just beginning.
