The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for October 20, 2023, promise another day of steamy romance for Thomas and Hope, as well as a heated showdown between two formidable women.
Thomas Reassures Hope of His Love
After spending her entire life watching her mother go after a man with a divided heart and her entire adult life wanting a man with a divided heart, Hope (Annika Noelle) can’t believe her father also has one. He can’t choose between their relationship and the feelings he has for Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), a crazy person who shot her own son and left him for dead.
But one man does love Hope and only Hope, and Hope needs to keep hearing it so Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) obliges. After another encounter with Deacon, Hope is distraught that her dad still plans to wed Sheila, so she pours out her feelings to Thomas and he pours out his feelings for her as he always does.
Thomas will always love Hope even if Hope can’t admit that she loves him. Will his romantic declarations lead to another locked door at Forrester Creations? Which mother will end up somehow walking in on them this time and will both Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor (Krista Allen) come to accept Hope and Thomas’s relationship? Sometimes it seems like Thomas and Hope against the world.
Li Goes After Sheila
Li (Naomi Matsuda) is one angry woman this week. She ordered Luna (Lisa Yamada) to quit Forrester Creations and she refused. She then told Finn (Tanner Novlan) all about what happened with Poppy (Romy Park) and furiously announced that she will never allow Poppy and Luna back into their lives. And on Friday, she sees Sheila.
The encounter takes place at Il Giardino and Sheila does her best to mind her own business. Li doesn’t care and tries to goad Sheila into lashing out at her, therefore proving that Sheila hasn’t really changed at all.
Sheila has been trying hard to remain cool, calm, and collected in the face of all the adversity against her engagement to Deacon, but Li might be the woman who causes her to snap. That seems to be just what Li wants but she also might want to be careful what she wishes for. An angry Sheila is a dangerous Sheila indeed.
