The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for December 12, 2023, promise a day of conflict with the Forrester clan as Ridge seems to be the man in charge.
Hope For Eric’s Future?
Despite Eric (John McCook) collapsing and ending up in the hospital on a ventilator, Finn (Tanner Novlan) believes there could be a way to save the Forrester patriarch from certain death. He knows of a new experimental procedure that can bring Eric back from the brink. The problem is Ridge (Thorsten Kaye).
He doesn’t want his father to suffer and become a guinea pig for a treatment that might not even work. Ridge doesn’t believe this is what Eric would want, but Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Donna (Jennifer Gareis) beg to differ.
To that end, they fight with Ridge to do what they know is the right thing. However, Ridge believes he is the only one who knows what the right thing is and he refuses to budge. He refuses to have Eric undergo the treatment, but will he have the final say in the matter?
Can Finn convince Eric this is the right thing to do? Will Donna club Ridge with her high heel to get him out of the way? Steffy also has a job to do here as she defends her husband and his considerable medical expertise.
Remembering The Best Of Eric
Meanwhile, Eric’s other loved ones are resigned to his death and remember some of their most wonderful times with him. Does that mean we get more honey flashbacks from Donna and another hot air balloon flashback from Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang)? After all, Eric has certainly enjoyed his time with a few Logan sisters.
Hopefully, we get some flashbacks with Bridget (Ashley Jones) and Thorne (Winsor Harmon), considering they are only back for a short time and we almost never see them. Ridge can’t have all the glory in this storyline, especially since he is ready to throw in the towel on Eric’s life.
As Eric remains unconscious, the things his family remembers and does from this moment on will determine his ultimate fate.
