The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for December 20, 2023, promise another day of anger and surprise for Zende — and another day or waiting to see if Eric will live or die.
Zende’s Big Ambush
Zende (Delon De Metz) is still smarting from learning that RJ (Joshua Hoffman) will help Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) complete Eric’s (John McCook) final collection and not him. He doesn’t care that RJ started the collection with Eric because, in Zende’s mind, RJ never should have been working with their grandfather to begin with. It should have been him.
Zende is not about to sit around and allow RJ to have everything, so when he makes an important discovery, he shares his news with Luna (Lisa Yamada) knowing she is RJ’s girlfriend.
What does he discover and is there more to him choosing Luna to confide in than just getting on RJ’s nerves? Plus, what happened to Paris (Diamond White)? Weren’t they dating? She seems to have disappeared again.
Perhaps most importantly — will Luna fall for RJ’s charms, which some may believe are more considerable than RJ’s? Oh yeah, and there’s still that little matter of a discovery that Zende just made…
Eric’s Life Is STILL On The Line
Meanwhile, poor Eric remains unconscious and fighting for his life while Ridge continues to wonder if he did the right thing by letting Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget (Ashley Jones) operate on his father.
Finn even wonders if trying to save Eric with this new procedure was the best decision. He confides his fear in Bridget because at least he is a fellow doctor. What if he did more harm than good when “first, do no harm” is part of the Hippocratic oath?
Bridget wanted this as much as Finn. After all, Eric is her dad. She feels they had to try and save him no matter what. However, she might also start feeling they should have let Eric go when Ridge wanted to.
Do both of them fear it was all for nothing and the family will soon have to say goodbye to Eric all over again? Or, will they get a Christmas miracle?
