Abigail Klein brought Stephanie back to Salem and soon after, Blake Berris showed up as her ex-boyfriend, Everett…who just so happened to also be Elia Cantu’s Jada’s ex, Bobby. What a twist! We’ve spent months watching Bobberett stir the pot. Who knew it would all come crashing down like this?
Abigail Klein Talks Stephanie & Everett
On the August 1st episode, poor Bobberett fell victim to Killer Connie (Julie Dove). The only saving grace to this tragic end was the beautiful moment of love between Stephanie and Everett before he took his last breath. It was lights out for this storyline…which just so happens to be one of Abigail Klein’s favorites. “I could talk about this all day,” she told Soap Opera Digest. “I really cannot say enough about Blake Berris. I can’t say enough about working with him. I think I grew as an actor working with him, which is awesome. He played Everett and Bobby so well.”
While fans didn’t get to see the start of the couple’s love story, Klein states that she and Berris did their best to convey their alter-ego’s love. “I wanted to show just how much Everett meant to her to the point that even later on, when Stephanie’s only talking about Everett, emotion still bubbles up for her. So it was important for me to at least try as much as I could to show how deeply they cared for each other, even if the audience didn’t get to see a lot of that stuff.”
Whether you were a fan of dreamy Everett or baddie Bobbie, everyone adores Blake Berries, including the cast, which is something Klein made sure to point out. “He’s someone that I could never get tired of watching. We all love Blake Berris. I’m just besotted with him. That’s really it.”
