In addition to action thriller Final Heist (which recently bowed on TUBI), soon-to-debut romcom The Holiday Exchange (starring Taylor Frey, Rick Cosnett, and Kyle Richards – the later a special guest star on Days of our Lives), and the chilling Get Off My Lawn (featuring General Hospital favorite Lydia Look), fans of Camila Banus (ex-Gabi Hernandez, DAYS) can look forward to seeing her in the pseudo-biopic, Cake.
Camila Banus’ New Film
Erick Suarez, the flick’s writer/director was the first to tout Banus’ involvement via his Instagram. Per the creative, Cake concerns: a devoted single mother striving to create the perfect birthday for her son who must overcome a series of misadventures, including financial constraints and her own high expectations. The film’s inspiration? Suarez’s own 7th birthday.

She joins an ensemble that includes: Lisandra Tena, Charlie Barnett, Benjamin D, and Joe Miñoso.
