Days of our Lives’ Tate (Leo Howard) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) are through, and they are never, ever, ever getting back together. Like, ever…maybe. The jury’s still out on that one — Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) or no Sophia.
Leo Howard On Holly/Tate/Sophia Triangle
During a recent chat with Soap Opera Digest, Howard granted that the one-two punch of Tate dumping Holly and falling into bed with Sophia was “jarring.” But then again, the more he thought about it, the more it made sense:
“Family is so important to Tate and so is his dad. There have been a lot of things trying to break his family up. Since his dad’s gotten sober, that’s his guy. That’s Tate’s only sort of lifeline. So when Holly turned against his dad, when she wanted to put him in prison, it was a little easier to get behind that switch…”
And there’s the little matter of the romance being nearly as toxic as the one shared between Tate’s pops, Brady Black, and that vile DiMera woman, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Huffs Howard: “They do work well together, but yet when they get together it can be kind of destructive.”
But does that mean that the two will never reunite? Who knows? Certainly not Howard. What he does know, however, is that “there’s a lot of juice to come with this storyline. It’s by no means over at all. There’s a lot of conflict between the triangle of us.” Promises…promises!
