Last week, Days of our Lives fans got a treat when Derek Yates’ new character Kerry came on set. The handsome newcomer didn’t waste a moment getting in on the action and trying to light Leo’s world on fire. And, it seems that’s just the start of this burning hot storyline.
Derek Yates Introduces Himself
The newcomer hopped online to greet the viewers and tease his storyline. In the video posted on DAYS’ Instagram page, Derek Yates waved hello, and dishes that he’s one of many suitors who will try to woo Leo in the coming months!
Will Kerry end up stealing Leo’s heart and helping him move on from Dimitri? Leo is continually unlucky in love and is feeling rather lonely these days. Why not give him some arm candy and put a big smile on his sweet face?
Viewers may recognize Yates from his guest spots as Rando in How I Met Your Father, Dante on The Rookie: Feds, and as Nurse Robinson In S.W.A.T. He also made a brief appearance as a waiter on General Hospital and stole hearts as Tay Evans in Christmas Ringer.
