This week’s Days of our Lives recap for the week of July 8th featured the final scenes with Bill Hayes as Doug Williams, Eric getting his son back, a graveside shocker, and a stabbing!

Monday, July 8th
The truth about Jude was out and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) was livid. Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) threw EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) under the bus, and Stefan, too for good measure. Stefan lost it, EJ stewed, and Nicole went home to pack up Jude.
Meanwhile, Eric was at the pub saying his goodbyes. Emotions ran high as he explained to Holly, and then Roman, that he was leaving for Paris today. Later, Nicole ran to the airport where she promptly told Eric (Greg Vaughan) he’s a daddy.
Bobby (Blake Berris) teased Jada (Elia Cantu) with bits and pieces of intel on Li’s murder. Meanwhile, the real killer, Connie (Julie Dove) let herself into the apartment and relived stabbing Li in cold blood.
Tuesday, July 9th
Eric was floored by the news but elated to be a father. He didn’t get on the plane for Paris. Eric took Jude around to reintroduce him to the family. At the same time, EJ told Holly the truth about his lies.
In the square, Stefan laid into Gabi but she wasn’t having it. What’s done is done and she’s proud of herself. Back at the mansion, Nicole demanded a divorce.
Tate (Leo Howard) and Aaron (Louis Tomeo) got caught plotting by Alex (Robert Scott Wilson). Thankfully, he thought they were plotting to get fake IDs. Tate went home to “get ready” for his flight. By the end of the day, he ran off with Holly and Aaron was on his way to camp.
Wednesday, July 10th
On this episode of Days of our Lives, Leo (Greg Rikaart) got several good eyefuls of hot men…starting with Xander (Paul Telfer) and ending the night in his room with newcomer Kerry (Derek Yates).
It was prenup day for Theresa (Emily O’Brien). After a talk with Bonnie (Judy Evans), she went home and signed the prenup…not before calling it insulting first, though.
As for Bonnie, she went to see Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and talked her into having a double wedding. At the same time, Justin (Wally Kurth) cried to Xander about losing Alex as a son.
Chad (Billy Flynn) got his ducks in order to exhume Abigail’s grave, but Jack (Matthew Ashford) got wind of the plan and was furious. Chad ended up telling him the truth and showing him the video.
Thursday, July 11th
Today, Days of our Lives marked the final scenes of the legendary Bill Hayes as Doug Williams.
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) ran over to the Horton house to see Chad, but he was already at the gravesite with Jack. Kayla was convinced Chad was a bit unhinged, but he was proven right when the coffin was empty. Chad promptly showed Jack the footage and the search for Abigail began.
After Kayla’s departure, Julie spent precious moments with Doug. They discussed the current goings-on, their big, bold life together, and the love they’ll forever share. They wore their hearts on their sleeve and Doug’s final scene was sharing a kiss with his beloved wife.
Meanwhile, Kerry was all about getting Leo into bed, but Leo simply couldn’t bring himself to do it. He ran over to Marlena’s to analyze why he didn’t take the hottie to bed. Is he still too much in love with his ex? Marlena helped soothe him with an evening watching TV together.
Over at the hospital, Connie suck into Bobby’s rom to find out what he knew and to convince him he was wrong. He wasn’t. She’s a killer. So, she tried to strike a deal. He says silent and she gets Rafe out of Jada’s life.
Friday, July 12th
Boberett managed to convince Marlena and Jada that Everett had regained control. Marlena arranged “Everett’s” discharge from Bayview because why not? What could possibly go wrong?
Meanwhile, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) promised Stefan she’d keep his and Ava’s (Tamara Braun) dalliance under her hat….for now. Gabi suggested to a guilt-filled Ava that they partner and relaunch GabiChic….
Connie reflected on her murder of Li, then plunged a knife into Rafe’s back!
