Days of Our Lives spoilers for December 22, 2023, promise a fun time in the Horton living room and an awkward time with Tate and his parents.
Drama And Joy At The Horton House
There may not be very many Hortons left in Salem at the moment (please let that change for 2024) but that doesn’t mean Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) don’t have loved ones over to hang the special ornaments on the Christmas tree.
Expect to see flashbacks of holidays from the past as Doug and Julie reminisce before the guests start to arrive. Chad (Billy Flynn), a Horton via his marriage to the allegedly late Abigail, brings Thoms and Charlotte by and they are clearly missing their mother, as well as Stephanie (Abigail Klein).
Oddly enough, Stephanie is there with Everett (Blake Berris). He seems to have endeared himself to Julie and earned himself an invite just like on Thanksgiving, so things get a little tense thanks to the recent breakup. Can Chad and Stephanie be adults for the holiday?
Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) brings Konstantin (John Kapelos) to the event so that he can look and feel out of place, while Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) are also there with Baby Victoria. It even looks like Xander gets his own ornament for the tree. Since all Xander has wanted is acceptance, it will make him a very happy man indeed.
Brady And Theresa Try
It’s been years since Tate (Jaime Martin mann) has spent Christmas Eve with both of his parents, but maybe that was a good thing. Now, all three are in Salem at the same time so Theresa (Emily O’Brien) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) do their best to give their son a real family Christmas Eve.
Too bad they argue through the whole thing and make Tate wish he was anywhere else. Finally, he loses it and tells them how he feels. He is tired of listening to their squabbling. Tate’s honesty throws Brady and Theresa off guard. Will they try to cool it and get along for their son’s sake just once? That would be quite a Christmas gift if they do.
