With their titles set — executive producer and house director, respectively — Abe (James Reynolds) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) get down to the business of casting (make that recasting) both halves of a much-beloved Body & Soul coupling. It’ll be no easy feat…assuming that fictitious soap opera viewers are just as finicky about new faces in familiar roles as the real McCoys.
Speaking of Johnny, he’ll also be getting together with his missus to talk about their life goals. Hopefully, they’re still on the same page when it comes to wanting a big brood — somewhere much farther down the line.
Meanwhile, Justin (Wally Kurth) presents Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) the papers that will annul his marriage to that duplicitous, two-timing tramp Theresa Donovan whom Alex actually kinds of misses whether he’ll break down and admit it to his pops or not.
Finally, Days of our Lives spoilers have Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Hattie (Deidre Hall) continuing to miscommunicate, and that’s going to provide fans with barrels of laughs.
