At the top of the promo, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) cops to enjoying spending his time with Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins), while Joy informs Kate (Lauren Koslow) that she and the Kiriakis heir are “seeing” one another.
Cut to Stephanie (Abigail Klein) informing Alex that she “wasn’t ready” to end things between them and that she misses him. Uh oh!
Opposite, the hunt is on for Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), and the MIA bad seed seems to be drawing her parents closer together. In dramatic fashion, Shawn Douglas (Brandon Beemer) announces to Belle (Martha Madison) that a young girl has been hit by a car and the description matches Rachel’s! Dun, dun, dun!

Also seen in the trailer: A distracted Bonnie (Judi Evans) steps into an empty elevator shaft despite Alex’s best efforts to save her.
