Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, May 1, 2024, tease Eric putting his lying liar wife in the hot seat.
Previously On DAYS: Paulina was thrilled to be in the clear and back at work…until Chad ruined her good vibe by calling her out for leaving isolation. She reminded him all was well and no one was hurt. Sadly, that may not be true. By the end of the day, Chanel fell so ill Johnny and Paulina pushed her to go to the hospital. Maggie told Julie about her engagement and Julie was reluctantly supportive. At least her friend has a prenup, right? Speaking of Konstantin, he toyed with John until Marlena interrupted. And, good thing she did because she and John quickly realized something was off when John didn’t remember his conversation with The Kon…again. Additionally, Marlena called out Everett on quitting therapy and he all but called her a hack. Later, he lied to Stephanie and said the good doc discharged him and he has decided he doesn’t care about his past. Period. Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up next.
Show Me the Money!
Eric (Greg Vaughan) has reached his breaking point with his wife’s secrets, lies, and cover-ups. Enough is enough and he wants the truth. Not tomorrow, not in a few hours…he wants it RIGHT NOW! Sloan has played too many games and he’s sick to death of this whole song and dance when it comes to their finances.
Sloan’s tried to explain this all away but she’s caught now. The walls are closing in and she’s feeling the heat. She can’t duck and hide anymore. She’s going to need to think fast and come up with a plausible story as to why so much money has disappeared and pray the paper trail doesn’t lead Eric right back to the baby.
Friends and Enemies
Eric may be in a dark place but Nicole (Arianne Zucker) sees him as a bright spot in her day, especially when she finds out they’re coworkers now. Most people wouldn’t love working with their ex-husband but she’s delighted. And, surely, Eric will feel the same.
As for Nicole’s husband, he’s too busy plotting against Paulina (Jackée Harry) to pay too much attention to his wife’s work life. The D.A. and the Mayor recently had it out and EJ isn’t down for that level of disrespect. Paulina must pay and pay dearly!
From Bad to Worse
Unfortunately, for Paulina, she’ll be too caught up in her daughter’s illness to pay much mind to EJ and his scheming. Chanel (Raven Bowens) is sick and her health is about to take a serious nosedive…and it’s all Paulina’s fault. She saved her life from the harsh storm, but that heroism is coming at a cost.
