Rubbing Salt In Nicole And EJ’s Wounds
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) finally decide to have some time for themselves to distract from the horrible tragedy they think they just experienced. They have a successful dinner date but when they arrive home, a very painful reminder of their loss is there.
The baby’s ashes, or at least what they believe is their baby’s ashes, have just been delivered to their home and they relive the nightmare all over again. Whose idea was this to firm up a lie by causing even more pain — Sloan’s (Jessica Serfaty) or Melinda’s (Tina Huang)? Our bets are on Melinda because she’s come up with the majority of the sick parts of this little baby switch plan.
Holly’s Teenage Dreams
While her mother suffers, Holly (Ashley Puzemis) is focused on snaring Johnny (Carson Boatman), a young man who is way too old for her and who is in love with someone else. She gets Tate (Jaime Martin Mann) to help her crash Johnny and Chanel’s big anniversary date.
Poor Chanel has no idea what’s in store as Paulina (Jackee Harry) helps her get ready. She also notices that her mother is not quite acting like herself. Paulina assures her that she is fine, but the audience can also tell that there is something wrong. Will Chanel even make it to her date?
Hope For Xarah, A Surprise For Marlena
Xander (Paul Telfer) and Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) are finding that their custody arrangement is working out well. The co-parents are now friendly but could they be more than friends? That’s what Xander wants to know when he drops off Baby Victoria with Sarah. There is something still between them that’s palpable.
Finally, John (Drake Hogestyn) has a romantic surprise in store for Marlena (Deidre Hall) when he drops by her office. She has been overworked of late, but now John is ready to give his Doc a little well-deserved R&R. What does he have in store for Marlena and does it somehow involve strawberries?
