Cracked Connie (Julie Dove), having deposited Melinda (Tina Huang) in the secret room-cum-wine-cellar down in the DiMera mansion’s catacombs, confronts Gabi () and gets stab happy. Fortunately, the female half of ‘Stabi’ avoids the letter opener and manages to get the upper hand. Unfortunately, Gabi’s victory is short-lived.
Connie gets her hands on a fireplace poker (the manse is chock full of them) and brains her would-be-love rival. Then it’s just a little matter of dragging unconscious Gabi through the tunnels, trussing her up beside Melinda, and doing some classic movie villain monologuing.

Opposite, Jada (Elia Cantu) is stunned by the sight she stumbles upon in Connie’s bed (and since we know it’s not poor, imprisoned Melinda, the best guess is the cut out of Li Shin).
Elsewhere, Roman (Josh Taylor) avails himself to Rafe (Galen Gering). If there’s anybody who knows about spending an unseemly length of time in a coma and then having to fight to regain his memories and his place in the world, it’s Roman.
Finally, Days of our Lives spoilers have Ava (Tamara Braun) accepting a most tempting offer from Stefan (Brandon Barash). No, not that kind of offer…we think. Our bet is on him extending a job opportunity.
