While Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) may not fancy himself “much of a soap guy,” there’s no denying the fact that the inhabitants of Salem certainly live lives worthy of adaptation by suds makers.
Why, look no further than the juicy goings on at The Bistro: There’s Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) emptying the contents of drink into Stefan’s (Brandon Barash) face, referring to him in most unflattering (and Spanish) terms, and revealing that she’s well aware of the fact that he and Ava (Tamara Braun) were “doing the dirty” while she was locked up. (They eventually take the argument back to the DiMera manse and EJ [Daniel Feuerriegel] happily takes a seat ring-side.)
Meanwhile, over in Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) room a the Salem Inn, the occupant — having gotten it into his mind that “Marlena” is suffering her own bout of DID — attempts to violently shake some sanity back into her. Don’t expect Hattie (Deidre Hall) to thank him for his efforts!
Elsewhere, the Horton cabin to be exact, Sophia (Madelyn Kientz) attempts to seduce Tate (Leo Howard) right out from under Holly’s (Ashley Puzemis) nose.
And finally, there’s all that upset over poor, paralyzed Sarah (Linsey Godfrey). The police — make that Jada (Elia Cantu) — think that they’ve (she’s) got a lead, and despondent Brady (Eric Martsolf) starts to think that maybe he’s the one who mowed Mrs. Xande Cook down and sped away.
