Days of Our Lives spoilers for January 9, 2024, promise another guilt-ridden day for Sloan, but will she do anything about it?
Sloan’s Losing It
Knowing that Holly (Ashley Puzemis) is in a coma after taking opioid-laced pills has Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) in a panic once again. Every time she thinks she can settle into her phony life with Eric (Greg Vaughan) raising a baby she stole, something else happens to ruin her delusional existence.
Now, on top of Leo (Greg Rikaart) maxing out her credit cards in exchange for his silence, Sloan has to think about the fact that Nicole (Arianne Zucker) could lose her only living child — or at least who Nicole thinks is her only living child. Meanwhile, she has Nicole’s other living child in her possession and only Dimitri (Peter Porte), Leo, and Melinda (Tina Huang) know this.
That means it’s Melinda’s job to once again calm Sloan down. She can’t feel all this guilt and needs to continue pretending Jude is not Eric and Nicole’s child. He is hers. She adopted him with papers and everything, right? (Did we ever see any papers?) Besides, Melinda knows how bad it will get if Sloan reveals the truth. She’d be in just as much trouble as Sloan.
Eric’s Angry
There was a time when Holly called Eric ‘Daddy’ and he thought of himself as her father, so he feels overprotective of the teenage girl and wants to know what really happened and how she got the drugs.
To that end, Eric pays a visit to Theresa (Emily O’Brien) to get to the bottom of Tate’s (Jamie Martin Mann) claims. Too bad he also has to deal with Alex, who gets overprotective of his girlfriend. Will Eric and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) end up coming to blows?
Kristen’s Back
Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and her precocious mini-me child hasn’t been seen in months but now she is back on the scene at John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) place where she has some words with Brady. The exes never get along and every fight becomes toxic, but will it happen this time when Kristen goes off right in front of Marlena?
And what is Kristen’s gripe? Does she throw Tate’s drug use in Brady’s face as another reason he will never have custody of Rachel (Finley Rose Slater) again?
