Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) hasn’t even been back in town on General Hospital for a hot minute and he’s already turning the tables. Well, throwing them, actually. His unhinged scene in Bobbie’s proves he’s struggling with himself and we can’t see Laura (Genie Francis) putting up with that violent attitude for very long.

General Hospital’s Not So Lucky Problem

Yes, yes, we know….one of Lucky’s biggest appeals is that he’s all dark and gloomy. He’s a lot like Sonny (Maurice Benard) in that respect. We soapies like our favorite men to have a bit of an edge. And boy, does Lucky have that! Unfortunately, that huge chip on his shoulder is going to get him in some serious hot water eventually.

While we can totally understand he was in serious emotional pain after finding out he couldn’t save his sister, beating up on a beloved establishment isn’t (and wasn’t) the answer. It may have felt cathartic in the moment, but look at the mess he left for poor Joss (Eden McCoy) to clean up! Yikes.

Now that Laura is also home it’s time for her to give her son a good old-fashioned talking to about conducting himself properly. One too many people have let Lucky slide over the years, and she needs to squash his attitude now before it gets worse. It’s one thing to be edgy, it’s another to scare a diner full of people because you didn’t get your way.

Set That Man Straight!

Should she point out what kind of example that sets for his son? Aiden is a sweet young man and he has a heart of gold. If he was to see his dad acting like that after barely even being home, it could put a damper on their relationship. The last thing Lucky needs is his son questioning his morals.

Of course, we’d never expect Lucky to be all happy-go-lucky (see what we did there?), but we sure would love to see him get a handle on those big feelings and emotions. That’s one of Laura’s specialties, and we’re sure if Lucky would listen, his mama could show him the way.
