Did you grab your tissues today while watching General Hospital? We sure did! Everyone had high hopes when Sam and Lulu came out of surgery with flying colors only to have it all go so very, very wrong. Poor Sam thought she was giving up a piece of herself for Lulu only to lose her entire life.

No one could ever imagine that cheering Sam (Kelly Monaco) on before surgery would be the last time most of her friends and family would see her alive. The gals were wheeled into the operating room and instead of worrying in the waiting room, most left to go about their lives. Will they regret leaving the hospital?
Will her sisters regret not showing up much for Sam at all? Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) were more worried about their own wars to think much about their heroic sister who was giving her own life to save Lulu. How will they ever forgive themselves?

A General Hospital Tragedy
This was a tragic end for Sam and her entire family. Her children are about to learn they’ve lost their mother, her own mom will never be the same, and Dante will never live down taking Rocco for lunch instead of staying beside his fiancé.
The only saving grace for the children is their fathers are back in the picture but what does this mean for their future? Will Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Jason (Steve Burton) collect their charges and separate them or will one of the brothers raise them together?
Sam’s loss will cut deep all across the board. Port Charles will never be the same without her and we (much like many of you) can’t believe she’s gone.
