As General Hospital‘s clean-cut Detective Falconeri, Dominic Zamprogna has tangled with all manner of evil-doers, but a tuneful necrophiliac?! That’s certainly a new one! No wonder the actor is thrilled to bits over his latest outside-of-soaps assignment.
Dominic Zamprogna Is [Expletive] Stoked
“[Gagrene USA] the musical is [expletive] happening,” rhapsodized Zamprogna on his Insta. “I got to play around with [Sgarbas] and friends last week on the film. Hardest working bunch in town are now staging a [expletive] musical spectacle at the Papermill this week! 16-19. Buy some [expletive] tickets and go see it!!!!!”

Gangrene, USA: The Musical concerns a bar owner who uses his out-of-work staff and embezzled government loans to produce a live musical about an obscure necrophiliac — “Count Carl Von Cosel” — and his Mary Shelley-esque attempt to raise Elena de Hoyos from the dead.
The aforementioned musical spectacle will feature a live house band of Toronto indie darlings [The Cruel Teens], elaborate miniatures, shadow puppets, stop-motion animation and live performance. The opening night performance will be filmed. Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged!**
No word yet as to who Dominic Zamprogna will play in the feature version, nor of a release window. As this is a developing story, Daily Drama will keep you apprised of any and all updates.
