You can count General Hospital‘s own Genie Francis (Laura Spencer Collins) among the many thrilled by the announcement that Jonathan Jackson is reprising his role as Lucky later this summer.

The two debuted as mother and son in Fall 1993 — it marked Francis’ first return to the ABC sudser in 9 years and Jackson’s first professional role. Francis and Jackson last appeared opposite one another during the latter’s brief return in 2015.
