Asher Antonyzyn (Danny Morgan, General Hospital) was hard at work at Prospect Park Studio this October, and you’ll soon see his efforts paying off onscreen.

The actor posted a few snaps behind-the-scenes to his Instagram alongside the caption: “I’m so grateful to have spent the last month with my [GH] crew! Looking forward to seeing my family and friends back home in [Chicago] for a bit, but can’t wait to get back here! Hope you all enjoy seeing [Danny Morgan] in [Port Charles] in the near future!”
The Windy City native will chalk up one year on the ABC sudser come November 2. He made his debut at a most auspicious time — it was still the spooky season in Port Chuck, and while he tricked and treated his way around time with the likes of Georgie Jones, scheming Charlotte was felled by a bullet fired by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) — and was soon thrust into scenes with heavy hitters like Kelly Monaco and Steve Burton (who played his onscreen mama and papa, Sam McCall and Jason Morgan, respectively). He’s performed admirably ever since.
With rumblings in the Soapshphere that Monaco’s alter-ego is poised to meet her maker by month’s end, was Antonyzyn on hand to bid his mother adieu? You’ll have to tune in to find out!
