The General Hospital recap for the week of July 22nd saw the line between good guy and bad blur.

Monday, July 22nd
Laura (Genie Francis) questioned a not-exactly-forthcoming Anna (Finola Hughes) about Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Charlotte’s (Scarlet Fernandez) disappearing act…. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) prepped Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) for their upcoming interview.
Ava (Maura West) confided to Scott (Kin Shriner) that Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) meds had been tampered with and he was primed for a breakdown…. Sonny asked Michael (Chad Duell) to testify on his behalf at the upcoming custody hearing, but Michael insisted he’d do more harm than good — which Sonny took as a personal slight.
John (Adam J. Harrington) insisted that Jason (Steve Burton) continue to serve at the FBI’s pleasure…. Carly (Laura Wright) confronted Anna about John refusing to honor the terms of his deal with Jason and resolved to confront the G-man herself.
Tuesday, July 23rd
Tracy (Jane Elliot) and Sonny reminisced about Luke…. Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Michael gab about Sonny, the custody battle he and Ava are waging, and debate which of the two of them should testify on their father’s behalf – Kristina draws the short straw…. Carly warned Sonny that bringing him to heel was now John’s top priority and begged off intervening on his behalf where Michael was concerned.
Ava and John mixed business with pleasure…. Anna assured Jason that she’d John but good. Later, John barged into her office ranting about her going over his head…. Jason informed Carly the was heading out on another assignment. Carly, in turn, insisted that she was going to surrender herself to the FBI.
Wednesday, July 24th
Jason (seemingly) talked Carly ’round…. Kristina and Blaze’s interview with Perez Hilton went seemingly…save for Kristina demurring when questioned about her pregnancy…. Ava asked Nina to serve as one of her character witnesses only to be summarily rebuffed.
Anna warned John that if he persisted in using Jason then she’d dig into his past, uncover any and all skeletons, and use them against him…. Jason headed for the bus stop and informed Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) of his impending exit…. Carly returned to the Metro Court and tasked her staff with removing John’s belongings from his room.
Thursday, July 25th
Carly informed John that he was no longer a guest at her hotel and wound up insisting that he place her under arrest. John complied…. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) raced to collect Jason at the bus station…. Anna is informed that no one with the name Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) is currently, or has ever been, an inmate at Pentonville…. A fit to be tied Molly (Kristen Vaganos) insisted to TJ (Tajh Bellow) that they need to bring Kristina to court.
Friday, July 26th
Michael canceled a meeting between Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Enchantment’s Erika Kane in order to ask her, face-to-face, to use her connections to Senator McConkie to extract Carly from her predicament…. Despite Molly’s urging, Kristina refused to sign away her parental rights to the babe she’s carrying…. Kristina and Natalia (Eva LaRue) had a productive conversation.
Anna and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) ponder Brennan’s disappearing act and wonder if the baddie has dirt on John…. Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) and Jason discussed Carly’s case. Jason resolved to save Carly by blackening John’s character — and he knows just who to turn to…. John offered to drop the charges against Carly so long as Jason’s delivers him Sonny on a silver platter.
Carly filled Sonny in on what the FBI has on her and how they levereged it to get Jason under their thumb. Sonny raced from the police station to his office where he retrieved a gun and ordered Brick to get him John’s location!
