Congressman McConkey (Sam McMurray) announced his departure and his endorsement of Drew (Cameron Mathison)…. Nina (Cynthia Watros) confided her dalliances with Drew to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) who preached caution…. Sasha spied Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Drew locking lips…. Cody (Josh Kelly) informed Mac (John J. York) of their familial connection…. Portia (Brook Kerr) raked Laura (Genie Francis) over the coals for her support of Heather (Alley Mills).
Tuesday, July 9th
At Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) urging, Michael (Chad Duell) agrees to (attempt to) temper the animosity he feels towards Nina and better his treatment of her…. Drew and Willow explain away their buss. Nina plants one on Drew after thanking him for interceding on her behalf where Willow is concerned.
Liz (Rebecca Herbst) refereed Portia and Laura…. A disenchanted Mac blasted Cody for his subterfuge and beat a hasty retreat…. Upon being apprised of the facts, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) extracted a promise from Cody that he wouldn’t tuck tail and leave town.
Wednesday, July 10th
Ava (Maura West) blackmailed Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) pharmacist into lowering his prescription’s potency to 0…. Sasha, Felicia, and Maxie put their heads together and scheme to get Cody and Mac together…. When pressed, Carly (Laura Wright) told Sonny she wouldn’t bash his parenting during his upcoming custody battle…. Sonny confronted Ava. The contentious convo was brought to a halt by John’s (Adam J. Harrington) arrival.
Thursday, July 11th
Ava attempted to work her wiles on John who assured her that Sonny would soon be behind bars…. Sonny attempted to rally Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to his cause…. Felicia bid Cody stay in Port Charles. Opposite, Maxie tried — and failed — to persuade Mac to show Cody grace.
Portia informed Jordan she’s gathering signatures for a recall vote that could potentially see Laura ousted as mayor…. Heather told Laura to drop her case…. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) resolved to put Violet (Jophielle Love) and her well-being first in everything that they do.
Friday, July 12th
Trina (Tabyana Ali ) arranged a romantic night in for her folks. Curtis and Portia agreed to table discussion of Heather so as not to spoil the mood…. Just as Laura decided to honor Heather’s wishes, Trina granted that Heather should be punished justly.
Maxie and Felicia refused to apologize for trying to unite Mac and Cody…. Anna (Finola Hughes) conned her way into Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) abode intent on absconding with his hidden satellite phone.
