Tracy (Jane Elliot) has been dealt a seemingly never ceasing series of harsh blows over the past two decades or so, and they just keep coming. Luckily for Ms. Q, when word reaches her concerning Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison. See how the actor’s costars bid the departing actor adieu.) passing, she’ll have Cody (Josh Kelly) and Stella (Vernee Watson) to lend support…not that the steely matriarch will take kindly to their offers.
Speaking of Port Charles citizens failing to grapple with the tragic loss, Finn (Michael Easton) continues to battle the demon booze — and we all know that on soaps one vice leads to another — and though he’s doing a fairly good job of keeping up appearances, girlfriend Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) won’t be able to shake her concern that something is terribly wrong with her feller.
There’s yet another lady in distress, and that’s Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Spoilers have the good doctor struggling with conflicting feelings — and given all the recent upheaval in her life (Curtis [Donnell Turner] taking a job at Aurora, Trina’s [Tabyana Ali] decline in the wake of Spencer’s death, Laura [Genie Francis] championing Heather’s [Alley Mills] cause), is there any wonder?
Finally, look for Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ (Tajh Bellow) to go on a romantic, stress-free date. Make that endeavor to go on a romantic, stress-free date. This is a soap opera, after all.
