Christmas is usually the season of making merry, of goodwill for all men…but not at Chez Quartermaine. Oh, no! Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), for one, is fed up with the hostile invasion of non-relative rabble and their spawn, and the actual relatives aren’t exactly endearing themselves to her either.
Always one to open her mouth and almost immediately insert her foot, Ms. Q is poised to make one heck of a faux pas in front of the assemblage. Luckily, she doesn’t embarrass easily.
But it’s not just Tracy failing to muster up much Yuletide spirit. The air between Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) is still thick with tension, and the former would rather shank his twin with the proffered candy cane than take a lick.
And even though Drew and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) don’t know it yet, Michael (Chad Duell) is set to blow the two of them and their nasty little affair right out of the water. And what better time than one in which the family is all gathered ’round?

Meanwhile, Ava (Maura West) and Ric (Rick Hearst), who have been getting awfully close as of late — much to close for some people’s tastes, including Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) — find themselves the co-recipients of an unwelcome surprise.
