Sam McCall is dead. Time of death: 5:48. In their grief, her sisters, Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) pick up where they left off — tearing a strip off each other and making the day all about them. Sam probably would have approved. After all, that’s the Davis girls’ new normal. But it’s not going to do Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) any good. Or anybody for that matter.
It’s especially not going to do anything for Rocco (Finn Carr), who’s nursing a guilty conscience…probably because he wasn’t exactly on board with the idea of Sam becoming his step-mommy when Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) first ran it by him.
Speaking of Dante, look for him to turn to Sonny (Maurice Benard) in his hour of need — because if anybody knows a thing or three about love and loss, it’s Sonny. That man has buried many a wife, would-be wife, lover, and multiple kin. It’s almost a marvel that he can keep on keeping on, but that’s just the life of a mob boss.
