General Hospital spoilers for October 23, 2023, promise a dramatic day in Port Charles as Sonny confronts Selina, Brook Lynn gets a shock, and Portia faces a dangerous enemy.
Sonny Confronts Selina
Sonny (Maurice Benard) had to rush off to get married so he didn’t have a chance to take Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to task for getting Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) involved with her illegal gambling ring, which in turn got Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) into her Ferncliff situation. He lays into her for using his family this way and hurting an innocent young woman.
Selina does not take well to anyone coming after her and gives as good as she gets. She won’t take Sonny’s threats lying down and issues him a warning of her own. Don’t come after her again or she will make him pay. They could amicably share territory now but things might change on a dime.
Does Selina know who he is dealing with? Does Sonny even know? This can get ugly really fast for a man who just wed and wants to live a peaceful life.
Brook Lynn is Stunned
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) had no real idea why Granny Tracy (Jane Elliot) was after Deception, but when she gets a big surprise on Monday, it looks like she finds out. Tracy wants to hand her this cosmetics company when she didn’t really earn it. How can she do this to her Deception friends?
And how can she leave her new burgeoning music management career behind? She doesn’t want the corporate world. She wants the music world. Will she figure out a way to have both things in her life? She just signed Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) as a client, but Blaze may also be the new Face of Deception.
As for Tracy, she makes her first stop at Deception as an owner and starts flexing her authority.
Portia Sees Cyrus
Portia (Brook Kerr) was disturbed enough to know that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) was out of jail after he held her and Trina (Tabayna Ali) hostage over two years ago, but now she comes face-to-face with him and confronts him about his actions.
Imagine Portia’s shock when Cyrus starts spouting bible verses and tells her that he has found God. Will she believe this change is real when nobody else really does?
