General Hospital spoilers for October 18, 2023, promise fireworks in Port Charles as Lois speaks up and out and Portia and Curtis finally delve into the last tumultuous six months of their lives.
Lois is Furious With Tracy
When Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) saw that Deception fired her precious Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), she had to head to Port Charles to see just how this happened. Learning that Tracy (Jane Elliot) is the one who blackmailed her daughter into committing corporate espionage leaves Lois reeling. How can Tracy use her own granddaughter like that and what was she thinking?
That’s just what Lois wants to know as she confronts her former mother-in-law about her actions. She doesn’t like the way that Tracy has been acting with Ned (Wally Kurth), aka Eddie Maine, as well. In fact, Lois has more problems with Tracy than she can count and runs through all of them. Expect to be highly entertained as Tracy fights back and these two formidable women trade barbs.
A New Start for Portia and Curtis
Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Kerr) may be living with one another again, but they haven’t had a happy moment since the moment they said ‘I do’ in February. Their problems seem brushed under the rug now that Curtis is in a wheelchair, but they finally confront things on Wednesday.
They need to talk out Portia’s 20-year-old lie that has taken this marriage down a dark path. There is no longer any trust between Curtis and Portia but they want to save their marriage so it might be time to take a leap of faith and start fresh. However, there are still lies between them as Portia has no idea about the deal Curtis made with Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
Catch-Up Time for Carly and Sonny
The honeymoon is over for Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) but they are still blissfully happy back in PC not realizing that Michael (Chad Duell) knows that it was Nina who tipped off the SEC about Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) insider trading debacle. Even Carly doesn’t know, which is why her encounter with Sonny is cordial on Wednesday.
Carly updates Sonny on Drew’s condition, but does she mention the fact that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) is convinced that Ava (Maura West) is in grave danger? Sonny knew Ava was MIA when he left for Puerto Rico. He also knew she was in trouble with Austin (Roger Howarth) and Mason (Nathanyael Grey), but it never occurred to him that she could have been kidnapped. Is he about to find out and take charge?
