A Surprise For Ava
Ava (Maura West) is still positive that Nikolas (Adam Huss) is dead. After all, she whacked him over the head with a gargoyle statue and Austin (Roger Howarth) declared him dead, so he has to be dead. It never occurred to her that Austin might have told a big fat lie.
Since Ava never told anyone that Nikolas was dead, Laura (Genie Francis) still has no clue that their conversation could stun Ava. The two women catch up and Laura tells Ava all about her trip. Will she mention the fact that she knows Nikolas has been withdrawing money from his Swiss bank account as of a few short weeks ago when he was supposed to be dead for the last nine months? Ava might want to ask Austin a few questions.
Speaking of Austin, he just killed his cousin Mason (Nathanyael Grey) with a pillow, forgetting all about the “First, do no harm” part of the Hippocratic oath. This weighs heavily on his mind as he heads to a bar and drowns his sorrows in booze.
It’s Time For Sonny And Lois
The friends from Bensonhurst are on our screens together for the first time in over 25 years as Lois (Rena Sofer) pays a visit to fellow Brooklynite Sonny (Maurice Benard) at his money-laundering restaurant. The pair catch up on everything and Lois thanks Sonny for taking care of Neddie (Wally Kurth) when he needed a pal.
Does Lois want to be involved with L&B again without Brenda (Vanessa Marcil) there as her partner in crime and Sonny’s lover? L&B still exists and can help Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) as she tries to get her music management career off the ground.
As for Neddie, he is happy when Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) comes to his defense. She seems to be falling for his Eddie persona, but how does Neddie feel about her?
Liz And Finn Grow Closer
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Finn (Michael Easton) continue enjoying their little Vermont getaway. As they bond more, will they eat the maple syrup with their pancakes since Elizabeth now knows how to get sap from a tree?
Perhaps they will take a hike and then read a book. They are supposed to become closer than ever, but it’s been two years and they haven’t gotten that close yet. Will it ever happen? Should it ever happen? We thought it would happen in the shower a few weeks back, but Liz got out of there as fast as she could.
