Rebecca Budig has dazzled daytime viewers for decades. From her time on Guiding Light to her role as Greenlee on All My Children, then Hayden on General hospital. Now, she’s taking over The Bold and the Beautiful and she’s just as excited as we are!
Rebecca Budig Praises Her B&B Costars
Coming onto a new set is never easy. The anticipation, the fun, the nerves. Budig knows all about that! She’s on the right set over at the CBS studios where one special coworker has gone over and above to welcome the star into the fold.
During an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Budig opened up about reuniting with Thorsten Kaye (Ridge). She spoke rather highly of her pal. “He is so good! And, I feel so comfortable and safe with him on set. It’s been great!” He’s not the only one who set out to make her feel warm and fuzzy as she dove into her new role.
Katherine Kelly Lang’s Special Touch
The biggest welcome came from Katherine Kelly Lang. “She’s just super-kind and down-to-earth and I’m always excited when I see that I have scenes with her,” Budig told the publication. “I just love her and I think she is stunning. She’s stunningly beautiful. You see her in person and you’re like, ‘Oh, my God!’ And she’s a really cool person with a nice, calm, sweet energy.”
We can’t wait to see what drama will unfold for those two! Taylor and Brooke tried their hand at friendship once before and well…that didn’t end on the highest note. Perhaps it can be different this go-around. But, of course, this is a soap and if they do revert back to enemies, Budig is ready! “I do love a good catfight!” She joked.
