This week\u2019s The Young and the Restless<\/em><\/a> recap for the week of April 15th, 2024, featured a hostage-taking, a whole lot of office politics, Ashely asking for help, parents at odds, and so much more.<\/p>\n

Monday, April 8<\/h2>\n

Over dinner, Daniel (Michael Graziadei) warned his mother she may become a target at work. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was not worried. Bring it on! Meanwhile, Danny was excited for the next day when he went on tour with Christine (Lauralee Bell)\u2026until she announced she was not coming. Instead, she\u2019s taking a huge case for an old friend.<\/p>\n

At the party, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) admitted she\u2019d been drinking to Jack (Peter Bergman) who kept the secret to himself. Outside, Jordan (Colleen Zenk) caught Claire (Hayley Erin) leaving and followed her. Later, Phyllis showed up at the Jazz Club and Nick (Joshua Morrow)panicked about them letting non-guests through the door.<\/p>\n

As for Claire, she showed up at the Abbott house with the gold bunny. Harrison asked her to read him a bedtime story and she agreed. While the little boy was using the washroom, Jordan came in and chloroformed Claire!<\/p>\n

Tuesday, April 9<\/h2>\n

Summer (Allison Lanier) burst into the Abbott mansion and searched for Harrison. Of course, Harrison was not to be found. Neither was Claire. The family called in the cops who discovered the Abbott\u2019s floral delivery had gone sideways. The flowers showed up, but the driver did not. They assumed Harrison was taken for ransom.<\/p>\n

Summer went to the Ranch and lost it on her family. How could they blindly trust Claire?! Victoria (Amelia Heinle) refused to believe it. Nikki blamed Jordan. Victor (Eric Braeden) got his security on the case. After Summer left, Nikki started to doubt Claire, too.<\/p>\n

Summer got back to the Abbott house just in time for Kyle (Michael Mealor) to get a text from Claire. Help her aunt or else! \u00a0Kyle was beside himself. Jack called the Newmans to update them and they were equally as flabbergasted. It hit everyone that Jordan was using Claire’s phone and she was a hostage, too. Victor headed over to see the Abbotts.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, over at her rundown apartment, Jordan told a terrified Harrison his parents didn’t want him anymore…and she would take care of him from now on.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, April 10<\/h2>\n

Nikki showed up at the Abbott Ranch drunk to see Jack and accidentally woke up the whole household. He talked her down and sent her home\u2026but didn\u2019t call Victor because why warn the husband? Later, Lauren took her to a meeting.<\/p>\n

Ashley didn\u2019t remember much from the night before and had no idea Harrison was missing. Traci kept it that way by passing the drama off has Harrison being unwell and with Summer. Ashley admitted she needed help and lucky enough, they quickly got the call to bring Ashley in for an intake appointment.<\/p>\n

On the Harrison front, Summer cried to her parents who were shocked and upset. Victoria and Cole hoped and prayed their daughter (and Harrison) were okay. Kyle got a second text, this time demanding safe passage out of the country for Jordan in exchange for Harrison\u2026it also said to ask Victor about his last offer. Jack and Kyle ran right over to the Newman mansion to talk to The Mustache.<\/p>\n

Thursday, April 11<\/h2>\n

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Mark Grossman) talked to Connor\u2019s (Judah Mackey) school and were told he was in treatment for OCD and trauma. Trauma? But, how? Wondered Adam as if he hadn\u2019t faked his death twice during Connor\u2019s lifetime. Oh, and you know, growing up Newman.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Lily (Christel Khalil)<\/a> informed Devon (Bryton James), Nate (Sean Dominic), and Billy (Jason Thompson) that Daniel was suing them. Nate and Billy thought it best to give up Princess Louisa, at least, but Lily held firm. She was going to take it all!<\/p>\n

Phyllis took great pleasure in hearing Christine would NOT be accompanying Danny on tour. Oh, she chose her career? Typical. She was right, but that\u2019s still not going to keep Danny and Christine apart.<\/p>\n

Friday, April 12<\/h2>\n

Sharon (Sharon Case) came running to see Adam and help talk him through his problems with Connor. He may think the doctors are useless, but she knew better. She also understood how and why Connor was diagnosed with trauma. Look at how he was raised and all the suffering the poor kid endured.<\/p>\n

Over at the Abbott mansion, Summer woke from a nightmare and pined for her son. Kyle dropping in only made it worse and she called Chance for support. She couldn’t believe even offering herself in exchange for Harrison wouldn’t work and was stunned to hear Kyle already tried, and failed, to do the same.<\/p>\n

Over at the Ranch, Jack offered to help fund the account they\u2019ll use to lure Jordan. Michael (Christian LeBlanc) showed up and they started talking strategy. How can they trap her this time? They started plotting and scheming ways to get rid of Jordan once and for all.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Nikki snuck in a few swigs before seeing Victoria. Much like Summer and Kyle, she decided to offer herself up to the madwoman. Victoria tried to talk her out of it, but Nikki\u2019s mind was made up.<\/p>\n
