The Young and the Restless star Camryn Grimes grew up before our eyes playing Cassie Newman and then her twin sister Mariah Copeland and now she’s a mom. Grimes broke the news of the birth of her son just after the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
Camryn Grimes’ Bundle Of Blue
Grimes shared a photo of her son in the wee hours of Saturday morning, December 16. The actress and her fiance Brock Powell welcomed their bundle of blue earlier this week. Bridger Elias Foster was born on December 13, 2023, with dad posting the following to his Instagram story: “Welcome to the world Bridger Elias. There’s a whole lot to share with you and a whole lot to learn from you. But, for now…baby steps Little B”
Grimes herself wrote, “Dad and I never liked waiting for Christmas either… Bridger Elias Foster 12 • 13 • 23. Our little family’s future is merry & bright” next to a precious photo of her newborn.
Congratulations started pouring in from co-stars, including Lauralee Bell (Christine), Courtney Hope (Sally), and Melissa Ordway (Abby). Y&R star Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) wrote: “Congrats. Welcome to the best part of your life.”
Grimes Chronicled Her Pregnancy
Fans got to follow along as Grimes experienced all the joys and discomforts of pregnancy as the excited actress took us all on a journey via social media. She announced her pregnancy in August with a photo declaring: “Baby Foster. Arriving December 2023” Alongside it, the actress wrote, “I guess you can add mother to my resume.”
In October, Grimes had some pregnancy discomfort questions for her X (formerly Twitter) followers, and in November, she posted a Tik Tok video revealing that she is the “first kid carrying the first grandkid & first great-grandkid.”
