It seems like the wait will soon be over for Elena Dawson fans! The Young and the Restless actress is back on set! For how long, we don’t know, but we’re excited anytime we get to see Brytni Sarpy!

Welcome Back, Brytni Sarpy

Sarpy took to her Instagram stories to share her homecoming. In the first post, she snapped a selfie and captioned it “Just popping in to say hi to the fam…@youngandtherestlesscbs.” Is she just there for a visit? Hmm… Her next story looks to be a hint that she’s taping. She snagged a shot of the dressing room that has her name, her character, and the message “Welcome back – we missed you!!!” It sure sounds like this is the return we’ve all been waiting for!

If she’s back for an extended run, we can’t wait to see what storylines are set to come her way. Will she turn Nate’s (Sean Dominic) world upside down by walking through the door and immediately getting between him and Audra (Zuleyka Silver)? Maybe she’ll show up for Devon (Bryton James) and Abby’s (Melissa Ordway) wedding and cause a stir! Some fans are even speculating that she won’t be alone. Could it be…will she have a tiny tot in tow?

Whatever comes Sarpy’s way we know she can handle it! She’s a master at her craft and can take on anything! One thing we know for sure is Y&R just isn’t the same without her.
