Heather is dead and Daniel could very well end up in jail on The Young and the Restless, which leaves Sheila Carter’s granddaughter and wayward teen Lucy needing stability. She’s being sent off to rock out on tour with her granddad but will that work when he’s busy with his music? We think not! And, we don’t think The Bold and the Beautiful’s She-Devil will either!
Mistakes Are Made on The Young and the Restless
What happens when Danny (Michael Damian) realizes having his granddaughter on tour just isn’t working? Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will have a whole heck of a lot of time on her hands and she’s shown us her idle hands usually find alcohol. Danny may be able to handle the drunk teen once or twice, but when it keeps happening, he’ll be at a loss.
The right move would be to call off the tour and take Lucy home, but what if he waits too long and someone else steps in? That someone being the grandmother Lucy has yet to meet? Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has stayed away for this long but this would be a great time to get to know the teen!

Sheila Carter Goes For Custody
Hear us out…what if Sheila is sitting in Il Giardino reading the paper and comes across the story of Heather’s death and Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei) arrest? She starts snooping around to get the gossip and learns Lucy is now living on the road with Danny. Well, that won’t do! Her precious granddaughter deserves better! It’s at that moment Sheila decides she’d like to raise the teenager herself!
Sheila takes a chance and flies to Genoa City to dig for dirt and demands to know the exact location of the girl. Once she has that, she runs to the courthouse and files a petition for temporary custody citing she’s the only one who can give Lucy a stable life.
A Fight to the Finish
Of course, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) will rush to do very much the same. She’s not about to let the likes of the She-Devil get her claws into sweet Lucy. No ma’am! No way! Not on her watch! She lawyers up and the ladies prepare to head to the courtroom.
This will be the custody battle to end all battles. Sheila on one side, Phyllis on the other, and Daniel still behind bars pleading his innocence. Will the murder case be cleared up before Sheila has a chance to win and disappear back to Los Angeles with Lucy in tow! We hope so!
