Alyvia Alyn Lind grew up before our eyes on The Young and the Restless and her career keeps skyrocketing since her exit from the daytime sudser.
A Whimsical Adventure
Since leaving the soap, she’s gone on to take starring roles as Lexy Cross in Chucky, Casey in Masquerade, and now she’s taking a starring role as Calliope in The Spiderwick Chronicles. She took to Instagram to share the news and the trailer with the caption, “look closer… spiderwick chronicles out april 19th🕷️🧌🧚.”
The Roku production will see Lind acting alongside movie icon Christian Slater, Lyon Daniels, Joy Bryant, Mychala Lee, and Melany Barros. She’ll appear in five of the eight episodes of the tv show based on the bestselling series by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black.
The Spiderwick Chronicles follows the Grace family as they move from Brooklyn, New York, to their ancestral home in Henson, Michigan, the Spiderwick Estate.The series is set to air on Roku TV on April 19th.
