* All My Children alum and Live with Kelly & Mark co-host Mark Consuelos has been tapped to join the cast of Scream 7. Plot details and a description of Consuelos’ character are expected at a later date.
The latest entry in the Ghostface saga will star legacy cast members Neve Campbell and Courteney Cox and feature Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Isabel May, Celeste O’Connor, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace (Faith Newman), Sam Rechner, Anna Camp, and Joel McHale.
Franchise creator Kevin Williamson is heading behind the camera. The script hails from Guy Busick who previously penned 2022’s Scream and its sequel. (Deadline was the first to report.)
* Colleen Zenk seemingly took her final bow as diabolical Aunt Jordan (though this isn’t the first time the Y&R baddie downed a fatal beverage), which proved a great disappointment.
In an interview with TVInsider‘s Stephanie Sloane, Zenk bemoaned: “I’m sad Jordan went away so quickly. thought that Ian [Ray Wise] and Jordan would go out like Bonnie and Clyde together.”
