File this one under ‘Fun Crossover Alert!’ Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti, The Young and the Restless) is set to produce The Wrong Paris, a new Netflix romcom starring Pierson Fodé (ex-Thomas Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) and Nickelodeon graduate Miranda Cosgrove.
All The Scoop On Michael Damian and Pierson Fodé’s New Flick
Per the film’s synopsis: “Cosgrove’s Dawn, who is desperate to escape her small Texas hometown and attend art school in Paris. Looking for quick ways to earn cash, Dawn auditions for a dating show set in Paris for the free flight and appearance fee — only to discover that the producers moved the show to Paris, Texas, as a ratings stunt!
“Now trapped as a contestant on a reality show just 30 minutes from her hometown, Dawn is determined to get eliminated. But her plans are complicated when a real romance blossoms with Trey (Fodé), the show’s handsome and charming bachelor.”
The project will serve as a reunion of sorts for Cosgrove and Fodé who appeared opposite one another in iCarly, the sitcom that the former fronted between 2007 and 2012. (That episode, titled “iHalfoween,” marked Fodé’s acting debut.)

Fodé posted on his Instagram: “‘We’ll always have Paris’ -Casablanca… I have a strong feeling we’ll take over another [Netflix #1 Spot] Anyways I’m Looking for someone to teach me French and in return I can teach them how to wrangle a bull while singing “Another bites the dust” at a full sprint. Show of hands please.”

Additional casting includes Frances Fisher, Madison Pettis, Madeleine Arthur, Veronica Long, Christin Park, Hannah Stocking, and Teagan Vincze. Janeen Damian, Michael’s wife will direct.
Michael and Janeen have previously served as executive producers on a number of made-for-television films including last year’s A Paris Christmas Waltz (headlined by Jen Lilley (ex-Theresa, Days of Our Lives) and Matthew Morrison (ex-Adam Hughes, As the World Turns) – which featured original holiday music by Michael — and two features anchored by Lindsay Lohan, Irish Wish and Falling for Christmas.
